Prompt
Scientifically accurate paleoart of Suchomimus, a carnivore Spinosauridae dinosaur from Aptian–Albian times (121.4–100.5 million years ago). Bipedal with the back held roughly horizontal and the tail held straight out behind for balance, never dragging on the ground. NOT standing upright like a kangaroo. Hands held tucked in near the chest with the palms facing inward toward each other, like clapping, claws curving inward and forward. NOT hanging down, NOT palms-down, NOT claws pointing at the ground. A long, narrow, crocodile-like snout with conical teeth and nostrils set far back near the eyes, NOT a deep tyrannosaur-like skull. Only a low ridge of skin along the back, highest over the hips, far lower than the sail of Spinosaurus. Reference: Suchomimus is a genus of large theropod dinosaur that lived in what is now Niger during the Aptian to Albian stages of the Early Cretaceous period, 112 million years ago. The only known species is S. tenerensis, originally described in 1998 by paleontologist Paul Sereno and colleagues from several fossils discovered one year earlier in the Elrhaz Formation. Although these fossils come from multiple specimens, they represent one of the most anatomically well-documented spinosaurids. Anatomy: three main weight-bearing toes on each foot; strong arms with a huge curved claw on each thumb, long sturdy hind legs, an ordinary long tail. Full body in side view, whole animal visible, standing in a vast Early Cretaceous river floodplain in Niger, like the Elrhaz Formation, with conifers, ferns and horsetails along a river, no grass. Natural history museum illustration style, realistic textures and natural daylight, muted natural colors. No text, no labels, no humans, no modern objects.
