Privacy policy

This policy covers the dinocodex.com website, the games at play.dinocodex.com and the DinoLens Android app (package com.dinocodex.app), made by Jedsada Saengow (Kilenex). In short: there are no accounts, we never ask for your name, email or any other personal information, and we don't sell or share data with anyone.
Data that stays on your device
Favourites, your chosen language, dark/light mode, and game scores and progress are kept in your browser (localStorage) or in the DinoLens app's storage on your device. They are never sent to us.
You can delete them at any time by clearing the site's data in your browser or, for DinoLens, in Settings → Apps → DinoLens → Storage → Clear data, or by uninstalling the app.
Visit statistics
The website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and popular pages. It uses no cookies, doesn't track you across sites and doesn't collect personally identifiable information.
The DinoLens app sends no usage statistics: it contains no analytics, ads or third-party SDKs, and when it opens our web pages it blocks Cloudflare Web Analytics too.
Internet connections
When you open the website, or when the app loads images and pages (from dinocodex.com, img.dinocodex.com and play.dinocodex.com), your device sends requests to Cloudflare, our hosting provider, as with any website. These requests include your IP address and browser or device details. Cloudflare uses them to deliver pages and protect against attacks under its own privacy policy. We don't use them to identify you.
Links outside dinocodex.com (such as Wikipedia or Wikimedia Commons) open in your browser and fall under those sites' policies.
Google Play
If you install DinoLens from Google Play, Google may collect crash reports and install statistics according to your device settings and Google's privacy policy. We only see aggregated, anonymous figures in Play Console.
Children
The content is suitable for all ages. We collect no personal information from any user, children included.
