Prompt
Scientifically accurate paleoart of Baryonyx, a carnivore Spinosauridae dinosaur from the Barremian age of the Early Cretaceous (about 130–125 million years ago). Bipedal with the back held roughly horizontal and the tail held straight out behind for balance, never dragging on the ground. NOT standing upright like a kangaroo. A long, narrow, crocodile-like snout with conical teeth and nostrils set far back near the eyes, NOT a deep tyrannosaur-like skull. NO sail on the back, at most a low ridge or hump along the middle of the back. Reference: Baryonyx is a genus of theropod dinosaur which lived in the Barremian stage of the Early Cretaceous period, about 130–125 million years ago. The first skeleton was discovered in 1983 in the Smokejack Clay Pit, of Surrey, England, in sediments of the Weald Clay Formation, and became the holotype specimen of Baryonyx walkeri, named by palaeontologists Alan J. Charig and Angela C. Milner in 1986. The genus name Baryonyx comes from Ancient Greek βαρύς (barús), meaning "heavy" or "strong", and ὄνυξ (ónux), meaning "claw", alluding to the animal's very large claw on the first finger; the specific name, walkeri, refers to its discoverer, amateur fossil collector William J. Walker. The holotype specimen is one of the most complete theropod skeletons from the UK, and its discovery attracted media attention. Anatomy: hands held with palms facing each other (not pronated, not palms-down, not dangling); three main weight-bearing toes on each foot; strong arms with a huge curved claw on each thumb, long sturdy hind legs, an ordinary long tail. Full body in side view, whole animal visible, standing in an Early Cretaceous river floodplain in western Europe, like the Wealden of England and the Bernissart clays of Belgium, with conifers, cycads, tree ferns and ferns, no grass and no flowering plants. Natural history museum illustration style, realistic textures and natural daylight, muted natural colors. No text, no labels, no humans, no modern objects.

Baryonyx
